North Yorkshire Council will be undertaking carriageway patching works on the A684 between the junction with Station Lane and the traffic lights on 29th October between the hours of 18:30 and 00:30am. A fully-signed diversion will be in place for the duration.
A parcel locker will be coming soon to the Village Hall. Watch out for further details on the notice board at the Village Hall.

Following the recent incident that sadly resulted once again in damage to the Swale Bridge, we have been advised that plans are now in place to recover any salvageable stone from the river in the relatively near future and that engineers will then look formally to assess the damage and to identify what work needs to be carried out for a full repair.
