Morton Art Group consists of local leisure painters who meet on Thursday evenings during term time and paint together without tuition. Membership is restricted to 25. Guest artists come to demonstrate or run workshops on average twice a term, rest of the time there are suggested themes for the evening with members swapping ideas, techniques etc. All levels of artists are welcome, and all types of media, except oils (due to fumes).
We do hold two/three exhibitions each year at various local venues. This year's Annual Art Exhibition and Sale Of Work will be held at All Saints Church, Northallerton, from 29th April to 2nd May (10.00am to 4.00pm). Free Refreshments available. Entry is free, but donations in aid of Alzheimer's and Cancer Research will be welcome.
